The Conservative Party used a total of twenty bills to create the ranking system, awarding each member 5 points for each bill that aliened with the Conservative Party’s stance. Senator Greg Ball received an 80% score, out of a possible 100%.

Senator Greg Ball has now been ranked the most conservative Senator for three out of the four years he served in the New York State Senate.

“Conservatives seem to be dinosaurs walking the earth these days in New York State. However, the Conservative Party and Chairman Mike Long represent a strong line of defense from a complete New York City Liberal takeover of New York State,” said Senator Greg Ball. “I am proud of my conservative record and I am honored to be once again named the most conservative Senator in this state.”

In addition to being ranked the most Conservative Senator, Greg Ball has also been three times ranked as New York’s most “Independent Republican Senator” by the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG). According to NYPIRG, a student-directed research organization, Senator Ball displayed the most independent voting record of his colleagues.
