LIMITED SPACE STILL AVAILABLE AT 4TH ANNUAL VETERANS THANKSGIVING DINNER

Brewster, N.Y. – 11/10/2014 – Senator Greg Ball (Patterson – R, C, I), Chairman of the Senate Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs Committee, is gearing up for his 4th Annual Veterans Thanksgiving Dinner.

Every year Senator Greg Ball teams up with the community to host a completely free Veterans Thanksgiving Dinner to thank local area veterans for their service. This year the dinner will be hosted on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at the Putnam County Golf Course with seating’s at 11 AM, 1 PM and 3 PM.

“I am so excited to again work with our community to host this wonderful event for the 4th time! We still have a few spaces available for veterans that would like to attend. I urge veterans, or their loved ones, to contact my office to RSVP as soon as possible, because seating is limited and we fill up every year,” said Senator Greg Ball. “Seeing the smiles on the veterans’ faces is truly rewarding and makes this event well worth it every year. I urge anyone who wants to give back to those who have sacrificed so much for our country to call my office to get involved in this wonderful event.”

So far, 580 veterans and friends have already RSVP’ed to the free Thanksgiving dinner. There are still 90 seats available for veterans and a family member to attend the 11 AM seating.

Senator Ball and his team are also seeking additional donations and volunteers from the community to make this day possible. Specifically, they are still seeking pumpkin pie, apple pie, dinner rolls, salad, salad dressing and also stuffing. If you would like to volunteer or donate for this wonderful day, please contact Senator Greg Ball’s office by calling: (845) 279-3773 or by emailing mgallipa@nysenate.gov.
